Education and Experience: Active Professional Engineer's License in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering PM Level II or equivalent certification At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience with government vessel design, construction, and repair, focusing on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration, and systems engineering Experience in detailed design and analysis to evaluate planned engineering changes supporting major shipbuilding acquisition (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I, or equivalent) and repair projects Essential Duties: Provide technical management services related to engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, naval, and systems engineering Perform systems engineering activities such as technical reviews, meetings, and documentation Support areas may include: Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, Concept Development, Design Documentation, Technical Data Engineering disciplines: Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy/Materials, etc
