Service Technician

SUMMARY: As a Control Sr. Panel Builder I (Service Technician), you will be responsible for the wiring and assembly of industrial control panels in accordance with the UL508A Standard. JOB DUTIES • Assemble / install industrial control panels using hand and power tools • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components • Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnected wiring • Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical components within the control panel • Document modifications or as-built conditions on drawings • Test continuity of circuits in electrical wiring • Work with low voltage electricity and electrical components • Work with Engineering staff to help improve quality and efficiency • General manufacturing and assembly duties will be assigned when control panel shop work is not available EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Typically requires a high school diploma or GED • Three (3) to five (5) years of shop experience or an equivalent combination
