Overview Role: Director of Sales Development Company: Safe Security Hiring Manager: Payal (reports to Nick) Key Details * Reports: 13 SDRs + SDR Manager (goal to scale team to 20) * Territory: Global (all based out of NY office) * ARR: ~$30M * Location: NY-based, in-office 5 days/week (not remote) * Compensation: $185K-$200K base (up to $250K total, 50/50 split) * Experience Required: * 6-10 years overall experience * At least 2-3 years in sales development leadership * Cybersecurity or technical SaaS background (ideally with GRC knowledge) Process * Payal * Nick * RVP * Jordan * CEO Expectations * Build and scale SDR function (processes, playbooks, metrics) * Train SDRs to engage CISOs and senior stakeholders effectively * Develop SDRs into AEs (career progression focus) * Prior experience building an SDR team from scratch * Comfortable in high-growth, high-intensity startup environment * Strong cultural fit (previous hire failed due to cultural mismatch) * Young team that needs structured leadership, process creation, and coaching
