Job Description Job Description Fits and assembles components to construct, rebuild and repair machines and equipment by performing the following duties. May also be required to perform installation of equipment at customer facilities. Essential Functions Level 1: Basic mechanical abilities Ability to assemble components with instructions/guidance Ability to operate tools such as drill press, drills, miscellaneous hand tools, drill and tap holes Ability to read tape measure and measure dimensions properly for assembly of components Ability to make hoses as needed, with training Possesses basic hand tools required to perform assembly tasks Ability to communicate with coworkers Work in a safe manner / follow all safety polices Level 2: Level 1 duties and abilities Ability to bend piping and/or tubing properly and consistently Ability to thread piping Ability to read basic blueprint drawings to be able to assemble equipment and to locate and drill holes for assembly of components Ability to identify proper fittings needed for all assemblies Pass forklift training Ability to operate Plasma cutting machine Able to learn and comprehend tasks assigned Good attendance Level 3: Level 1 and 2 duties and abilities Ability to thoroughly read blue prints with minor assistance Ability to solve problem issues when assembling equipment Ability to assemble standard machines and machine components with minor assistance Ability to identify errors on drawings regarding fittings or components required Ability to direct and train others on equipment use and machine assembly Ability to handle lead on equipment installations Handle various tasks well, as assigned Maintain Positive and supportive attitude Maintain good Attendance Reinforce Cannon USA safety policies Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job
