Mechanical Design Engineer Were hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer that will help with the development and refinement of large-scale mechanical components and systems. Must qualify for a Secret Clearance Design Engineer Job Responsibilities: Design and develop large-scale mechanical components using 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor) Produce and revise detailed 2D drawings based on input from the manufacturing floor Collaborate with engineers and production teams to validate designs for accuracy, manufacturability, and performance Support Utility, Industrial, and Renewables divisions, with particular focus on legacy mining equipment Contribute to the design and development of modular substations and emergency mobile substation systems Design Engineer Job Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and structural analysis Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and 3D CAD modeling Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and mechanical system design Understanding of snow and wind load structural analysis Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, especially on the manufacturing floor Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan
