Job Description Job Description Attributes and Skills: · Strong understanding of mechanical engineering/physics fundamentals · Solid analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and relentless drive to identify potential problems and take responsibility for their resolution · Natural curiosity, positive attitude, and proven ability to deliver robust, elegant, and innovative solutions to complex design challenges · Ability to quickly, effectively, and concisely communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues both verbally and in writing · Comfortable multitasking and responding quickly to shifting priorities without losing sight of longer-term projects and goals Responsibilities: · Create 3D models, detail mechanical drawings, and develop BOMs for new products · Engineering support for existing products and processes · Assist production and accounting department with work tickets, inventory, BOM · Domestic and international supplier sourcing and evaluation with ongoing written and verbal communication pertaining to assigned projects · Mechanical Engineering design for various component based and assembly systems on assigned project, OEM machines, and some equipment maintenance · Materials research and testing required for new product design and development
