Job Description Job Description Mechanical Assembler What You’ll Do Assemble electro-mechanical generator systems per drawings, schematics, SOPs, and work orders Build/assemble electrical control panels, breaker panels, and transformers Install wiring, harnesses, connectors, circuit boards, power supplies, labels, and hardware into chassis Route/bundle/terminate wiring; crimp pins, perform connector termination, and inspect finished work (rework as needed) Use hand tools and power/air tools; operate overhead cranes to move products/equipment Measure/verify tolerances and clearances using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and torque tools Solder components and fasten parts to assemblies/subassemblies Perform basic troubleshooting/repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment (may include PLC-related troubleshooting) Pull parts inventory, drill/tap/ream holes, inspect parts, correct defects, and complete required paperwork Maintain housekeeping/line clearance and support continuous improvement/lean practices What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED 1+ year experience in manufacturing/mechanical assembly Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and production schedules Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work overtime as needed Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical / Work Environment Regular standing, bending, crouching, and working around equipment while wearing PPE - steel toed shoes Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs
